Spatial-Omni: Spatial Audio Understanding Integration in Multimodal LLMs via FOA Encoding
Researchers introduce Spatial-Omni, a method that integrates First-Order Ambisonics (FOA) spatial audio into multimodal large language models, enabling them to understand sound localization and spatial scene reasoning.
