UK sovereign AI fund to build up domestic computing infrastructure
The UK government launches a £500 million sovereign AI fund on April 16th to build domestic computing infrastructure as an alternative to external providers. The initiative is backed by the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology and chaired by James Wise from Balderton Capital.
