Judge Rejects RICO Claims in Lawsuit Over Pastor-Led Crypto Ponzi Scheme

A federal judge has dismissed RICO claims in a lawsuit concerning a cryptocurrency Ponzi scheme that was led by a pastor. Eddy Alexandre, who orchestrated the scheme, pleaded guilty to commodities fraud in 2023 and is currently serving a nine-year prison sentence.
