Translating Inference-Time Control to Radiology Vision-Language Models: Activation Steering for Pneumonia Classification on Chest X-rays
Researchers evaluated Contrastive Activation Addition (CAA), an inference-time technique, to improve pneumonia classification in frozen chest X-ray vision-language models without fine-tuning.
