AI Scientists as Engines of Discovery: A Case for Development within Reformed Institutions
Researchers propose that agentic AI systems are transitioning from computational tools into autonomous "AI scientists" capable of accelerating scientific discovery across literature synthesis, hypothesis generation, and model verification.
