State of Ethereum: August Edition

Ethereum development accelerated significantly in August with the release of Proof of Concept 5 (PoC5) just before the crowdsale. This milestone marked the first time Ethereum had two functional clients - one written in C++ and another in Go - demonstrating important progress in the platform's multi-client ecosystem development.
