Knowing Isn't Understanding: Re-grounding Generative Proactivity with Epistemic and Behavioral Insight
A research paper argues that generative AI agents must move beyond simply answering explicit user queries to proactively surface unknown risks and opportunities—a condition termed 'epistemic incompleteness.'
