Bitcoin Mining Is Leaving Earth: Nvidia-Backed Firm Targets Space

Starcloud, backed by Nvidia, launched a spacecraft with an H100 GPU into orbit last year and plans to deploy ASIC Bitcoin miners on a second spacecraft in 2024. This represents a test of whether cryptocurrency mining operations can be successfully conducted in space.
